Free and Low-Cost Health Insurance Programs
The free and low-cost health insurance programs available to Marin County familes are:
- Medi-Cal, free health care (English and Spanish information)
- Covered California, low-cost health care (English and Spanish information)
- Kaiser Permanente Child Health Plan (English and Spanish information)

Marin Children's Health Initiative
The Children's Health Initiative offers health insurance enrollment and re-enrollment assistance to children from birth through age 18 and pregnant women. Their office can assist you in completing the appropriate forms and submitting required documentation.
