Eighth Grade Parents: Teens in Transition Parent Letter

  • Teens In Transitions: Strategies for Informed, Responsible Decision-Making seminars for eighth grade students will be held at Kent on November 22nd, as well as two days at the Branson School in Ross on November 25th and 26th.
  • The parent letter details background information that is essential for your understanding of the development and objectives of this program.

5th - 7th Grade Only: Private School Application Instructions:

Kent Athletics

Volleyball Schedules: 6th Grade and 8th Grade

Basketball: Attention 7th grade parents!

  • Coaches for both seventh grade boys and seventh grade girls basketball are needed.
  • Practices start in late November and the games run from January through mid-March.
  • The commitment is one practice and one game a week. Paperwork and fingerprints are required. Stipend available.
  • Please contact Ryan Palmer, Athletic Director at rpalmer@kentfieldschools.org.

Next General KSPTA Meeting: Monday, January 27, 2019, 7-8:30 p.m., Kent Library

  • There is no December KSPTA meeting.
  • In response to community feedback, the January meeting will be held in the evening.
  • Officer Josie Sanguinetti, our School Resource Officer, will speak about student safety — both physical and emotional — and what parents need to know to protect our kids.

Book Fair

Come join us for an annual favorite — the Book Fair! You’ll find a carefully curated selection of books grouped by age, perfect for everyone from younger tots to teens, and even a few for yourself. A portion of all sales goes to the KSPTA to help fund programs such as art, music, technology, PE, library, grants, teacher stipends, and more. Complimentary gift wrapping available.

Girls Softball and T-Ball Spring Registration

Kentfield Girls Softball is for 5 to 15-year olds living in Kentfield, Greenbrae, Ross, and North Larkspur based on child’s age on January 1st. KGS offers both T-Ball and softball.

Supervisor Katie Rice will begin the meeting with updates on key issues of importance to the Kentfield/Greenbrae community followed by time for questions, comments, and conversation on any topics of interest to those attending.

The deadline to register for the 2020 Washington, DC & Boston Trip (4/4- 4/9/2020) is Friday, February 14, 2020. Have your 8th grader check with Mr. Palmer for a registration envelope.
