KSD Distance Learning Portal

Dear Kentfield School District Community,

This week brought the sad news that we will not be able to return to our campuses this school year. While I know that our teachers, administrators, and staff will create the best distance learning experience possible for our students, it is impossible to ignore the fact that what makes school great is the personal interactions, which we all miss terribly.

Our School Board is committed to finishing the work of the school year, which includes hiring the next Bacich Principal and the district’s next Superintendent. They also continue to keep an eye on the state’s and nation’s financial situation to be able to adjust our 2020-2021 budget development. At their Board Meeting on Tuesday, Trustees will hear from staff about the county’s projections regarding future revenues, and will discuss any necessary responses. They will also be considering a first reading of amended Administrative Regulations guiding Mathematics Instruction. You can join this meeting telephonically. Call-in numbers will be provided via email on Monday.

I hope that you and your family are staying well.
