Bacich News
Bacich Library
A heartfelt thank you to Book Fair co-chairs Crystal Vargas and Jennifer Johns for their incredible efforts in organizing this year’s Book Fair. Their months of planning resulted in one of the most successful book fairs in recent years, and one of the biggest events in the district.
Ms. Warnick would also like to thank Chrissy Green, Lindsay Tonderys, and Vicki Sonu Song for helping process, cover, and catalog the many books that were generously donated to the Bacich library from the Book Fair. Children were delighted to have their donation presented to them during their library class time and be the first to check it out.

Calling Parent Volunteers!
We are looking for a team of parents to help staff the garden during lunch recess on Tuesdays (1st/3rd) and Thursdays (2nd/4th) from 12:30-1:30 p.m.
We are blessed with a beautiful garden space at Bacich, but currently the only time the garden is able to be open at lunch recess is on Mondays during Garden Club. More than one adult is needed to supervise the garden, and because staff supervises other areas at that time, parent volunteers working alongside staff is the only way the school can safely open the garden for free play.
Thank you for considering volunteering. Sign up link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/bacichgardenplayvolunteers
Cool the Earth, a Marin-based nonprofit organization, will be on the Bacich campus this Friday, November 15th, to kick off their climate action program with a student assembly. Please look for the Climate Action Coupon Book in your child’s Friday Folder. The book focuses on low-carbon transportation and includes actions for both students and parents.
Students can return their coupons before school on two collection days at the Cool the Earth table in the quad and receive an eco-friendly prize. :
