KSPTA Meeting: May 9 with Special Guest Tess Connolly - Tech Reset Masterclass
Tired of screen time and device conflicts at home? Come to the Tech Reset Masterclass and learn new mindset shifts and strategies to help find balance and calm around technology use. We will talk about the latest stats and research, discuss the new paradigm with devices post-pandemic, and explore how to talk to your child.
Theresa (Tess) Connolly, LCSW, CCC has been working in mental health with children and families for over 20 years. In her business Mindful Kids and Families, Tess is a ParentCoach to parents of kids age 9-17 years. She has worked as a psychotherapist with tweens and does co-parenting coaching with couples. Tess is the Host of The Parenting Reset Showpodcast, where she talks all about raising tweens and teens, often with expert guests. She is a single mother to a 13 year old boy. Originally from New England, Tess now lives in San Anselmo and is raising her son as an avid Red Sox fan.
Lunch Volunteer Sign Ups
Our school lunch program is run by the KSPTA and staffed completely with volunteers. These dedicated volunteer parents who've been feeding our kiddos all year are tired and need a break! Please help us out. Between Bacich and Kent we need to get over 1500 lunches into the hands and mouths of our hungry students. Consider a regular shift - either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Connect with other parents and see your children in the wild. We particular need help this month so sign up now!
The KSPTA is working on bringing some great parenting education events to Kentfield this school year. There are also lots of great resources, often free, in our community. Regularly, we'll be sharing information about community events with you.
