Dear KSD staff and families,

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we make decisions about school closure with the best information available.

This week has proven the importance of keeping one’s emergency contact information current, and making sure that all means of reaching you are enabled in Aeries. I have heard from several people that they could receive email, but not phone, or text. Others experienced the opposite or some variation. It seems everyone got at least one type of message based on there being no students dropped off at either campus on Monday morning.

I am interested in knowing what was effective about my messaging and what was not so that next time, it can be better although I hope that “next time” isn’t too soon.
