Dear Bacich Community,

Fourth Grade Rancho Day

What a wonderful day our fourth graders had last Friday. They celebrated Rancho Day by learning how to weave, making corn husk dolls, and painting pottery designs. A big thank you to all of the fourth grade parent volunteers. You really made a difference and helped things run smoothly. As I visited each fourth grade classroom, I was so impressed with the student engagement and teacher’s thoughtful planning for this action packed day. Enjoy a few of the many photos I took:

Trimester 2 Report Cards

This Friday, March 11 marks the end of the second trimester. Teachers will be entering grades and comments the following week. Report cards will be made available to families at the end of the day on Monday, March 21. If you would like a paper copy of the report card, please email Lynn Bartha at lbartha@kentfieldschools.org or call the front office at 415-925-2220. If you have any questions about your child’s progress, please contact their teacher.

Safety Reminder

For the safety of our students, please remember that students should be picked up promptly after school is released, unless they are attending an after-school class/program on campus. The Bacich playgrounds are not supervised after school, and it is important to make sure that all students are safe and in the appropriate pick up area while waiting for their caregivers.

Kent Tutors Marin: Free virtual tutoring to K–6th graders in all subjects during school, after school, and on weekends. Spanish-speaking tutors are available. Sessions are 30-45 minutes via Zoom.

Bacich Yearbooks Now on Sale! Lowest Price by March 13!

The yearbook will be back this year with class photos and pictures of all students, not to mention spreads of special events on campus throughout the year! The sales of the book support KSPTA programming in the KSD. Yearbooks will be delivered to students in their classrooms at the end of the school year.
